We want to welcome you to First United Presbyterian Church located in downtown Loveland, Colorado. Our congregation is active in its faith through worship, prayer, art, music, contemplation and community outreach. As a congregation we are engaged in local, national and international social issues. Over the congregation’s 100-year+ history, we have supported a variety of efforts and currently help with the Community Kitchen, the Interfaith Hospitality Network for homeless families, and special events such as the Crop Walk and more.

First United Presbyterian Church is a place to be loved and not judged. We encourage you to visit us for worship on Sundays at 10 a.m.

Highlands Camp Counselors

Our own Michelle Ruiz is a Highlands Camp counselor and invited eight other counselor friends to Loveland. They enjoyed a night of movies, pizza and many laughs. Michele gives us a quick look at being a counselor at Highlands below.

At Highlands, a work week is basically 24 hours a day 6 days a week. We are constantly with campers at activities, Bible study, meals, worship and, most fun of all, bonding times like games and cabin devotions. It is definitely a job of playing hard. So on that one day a week we don’t have campers, we love just being able to come down off the mountain for a day of relaxation and bonding between staff. As much as we love our campers, they tire us “older” kids out! : ) Peace, Michelle Ruiz
